The Environmentally Endangered Lands referendum passed with almost 70% of the voters
showing that they do care about preserving endangered lands. Thank you Brevard County
for showing how much you care about the future of our county.



This funding for the Environmentally Endangered Lands Program (EEL) will help to complete important land conservation goals throughout Brevard County.

Voters have now allowed for the acquisition and preservation of critical linkages between already conserved lands, while helping to preserve  valuable water recharge areas , species and habitats.

The tax collection will be .2085 millage, which equates to approximately 20 cents on every $1000 of taxable property value. So for example, you will pay about 

"Preserve Brevard" is a citizen's group that was formed to promote Referendum number 2 that passed on Nov. 2nd 2004.
$17 per year for a property with homestead that is assessed at $107,850 (click here)
